She shared on her page today:
“Instagram has become an avenue where faceless people feel they can out rightly insult you or bully you and expect you to be quiet. There is a difference between a polite criticism and a direct insult.
What you dish out is what you get. I am on social media to get closer to my fans and it is lot easier for those who need my assistance to contact me but I can also live without it. Respect is reciprocal. Don’t insult me or the team that worked so hard out rightly in public and expect me to ignore you. Be matured in your criticism. I don’t expect everyone to like me but then don’t try to insult or bully me I will defend myself.”

Image result for leap year
A leap year, where an extra day is added to the end of February every four years, is down to the solar system's disparity with the Gregorian calendar.
A complete orbit of the earth around the sun takes exactly 365.2422 days to complete, but the Gregorian calendar uses 365 days.
So leap seconds - and leap years - are added as means of keeping our clocks (and calendars) in sync with the Earth and its seasons.

Image result for leap year

Technically, a leap year isn't every four years

The year 2000 was a leap year, but the years 1700, 1800 and 1900 were not.

There's a leap year every year that is divisible by four, except for years that are both divisible by 100 and not divisible by 400.

The added rule about centuries (versus just every four years) was an additional fix to make up for the fact that an extra day every four years is too much of a correction.

Surgeons in Cleveland say they have performed the nation's first uterus transplant, a new frontier that aims to give women who lack wombs a chance at pregnancy.

In a statement Thursday, the Cleveland Clinic said the nine-hour surgery was performed a day earlier on a 26-year-old woman, using a uterus from a deceased donor.

The hospital had long been planning for such a surgery, announcing last fall a clinical trial that would attempt 10 transplants. The hospital said it wouldn't release any more details until a press conference next week, except to say the woman's condition was stable.

Scientists have uncovered an extensive fabric collection from the era of Kings David and Solomon in an ancient copper mine located deep in Israel’s Arava Valley.

This is the first discovery of textiles dating from the era of David and Solomon, and sheds fresh light on the historical fashions of the Holy Land. The textiles - tiny pieces of fabric that vary in color, weaving technique and ornamentation - also offer insight into the complex society of the early Edomites, the semi-nomadic people believed to have operated the copper mines at Timna.

“No textiles have ever been found at excavation sites like Jerusalem, Meggido and Hazor, so this provides a unique window into an entire aspect of life from which we’ve never had physical evidence before,” Tel Aviv University’s (TAU) Ben-Yosef, who led excavation team, said of the textiles that originated from bags, clothing, tents, ropes and cords.

It is with a collective heavy heart that we announce that after over 20 years of marriage and a long separation, Meleasa and I are officially divorced. Several years ago I failed and sinned in my marriage. Though this is new to many, it is not new to us as we have been working through this for over 5 years. Although we tried, the challenges in our relationship have proven too much to overcome. We have always handled our family and ministry with grace and generosity toward others, discretion, and privacy. So, for the sake of our amazing kids, we are also handling this privately with pastoral oversight and assistance. We choose to remain friendly and kind to each other going forward. I am in the process of restoration and I have repented for my actions. Although I am sincerely sorry, and forgiven, I soberly realize that I will live with the consequences of my failings for the rest of my life. As this has become a public matter I want to apologize to the many who have supported my ministry through the years. I’m sorry for the many who will be hurt to learn of my personal failure. I regret any pain or disappointment that this news may cause you. We thank you for your prayers and for allowing us to handle this privately with those who are set over us in this process.

Biko! Charly Boy said Jesus Spoke to him, and he pen it down in an Article.

Read the article below
''Fellow Nigerians,

Jesus Is Real. Be patient and read Biko.
I had a divine dream last night, and Jesus has sent me with this message to you.
It was clear to see that our Lord and Saviour is deeply worried about His Nigerian Creation.
He had instructed me to tell you all, that Nigerians should NOT substitute prayers for hard work. The whole of chapter 2 of the Book of James corroborates this, especially verses 18, 20 and 26. It says faith (prayers, night vigils etc) without (hard) work is dead. No be me talk am o, na the same Bible wey una dey carry.

It was clear in the vision I had last night that Jesus is not happy with Nigerians. Most Nigerians now live in the church 24/7 from Monday to Monday, wives have abandoned their husbands for night vigils, everyone is praying for miracles and miracles and more miracles. It's either this or for God to strike their enemies dead and all those who steal their luck.

Jesus is so very upset with Nigerians' prayer requests and shopping list, always calling His Name for the most trivial matters, things that would come to them naturally without sweat were they not a lazy and an unthinking bunch.
The one that really gets to Him, as He told me, is when some evil men and women parade themselves as God's messengers deceive their congregation for their own personal aggrandisement, promising heaven, money, husbands, children and wives. Titus chapter 1:10 talks about this.

Fellow Nigerians, Jesus wants His good name back! Naijas have so bastardized the name. He wants Naijas to put the creative and entrepreneurial mind He gave them to work and stop chasing quick fixes. He wants an upgrading of our work ethic.
He wants to see genuine love for our neighbour's, not lip or eye service kinda love.

He had asked me to warn those in leadership to be mindful of where they are stirring the country to or face His wrath. He said this present administration has just a few good people in it but they must stand firm before they become polluted. Jesus said I should tell them that He's giving them till the end of this year to make a meaningful impact otherwise....

Incase you're wondering (like am still dazed myself) why its me Jesus should be talking to when we have the likes of Adeboyes, T,B Joshua, Pastor Kris Okotie, etc. Well, I was surprised too, and as if He read off my bewildered thoughts of "Why Me" on my face, He just gave me this hard look and asked me to go to work at once, calling my attention to Matthew 7:21-23. Go and read it to see what it says.

As a matter of fact, at some point my thought was...does He want me to start a church, why is He entrusting this duty to me, abi Him want me to begin preach? Of course it's Jesus now; so He knew what I was thinking and replied my inner thought saying as far as He's concerned, I already have a church, a mega congregation of youth and families that I touch with my messages, that in case I don't know, I am already preaching and this is why He came to me because He reckons that I have the platform He can use to get the word to the people.
Who then am I not to run the errand of Jesus? So I got up, and began to put pen to paper.

I'm not sure I have successfully communicated the disgust and disdain Jesus expressed when He spoke to me last night but am only hoping that this my gentle appeal to you all goes into the very fibre of your beings like a two-edged sword, and cause a true change of heart and attitude in all and sundry.
Jesus try o, Him still dey send message, if na me CharlyBoy, na hot koboko go land some people kini.

Anyway sha, give Jesus a wiper.

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.N) was ordered by a Missouri state jury to pay $72 million of damages to the family of a woman whose death from ovarian cancer was linked to her use of the company's talc-based Baby Powder and Shower to Shower for several decades.
In a verdict announced late Monday night, jurors in the circuit court of St. Louis awarded the family of Jacqueline Fox $10 million of actual damages and $62 million of punitive damages, according to the family's lawyers and court records.

The verdict is the first by a U.S. jury to award damages over the claims, the lawyers said.
Johnson & Johnson faces claims that it, in an effort to boost sales, failed for decades to warn consumers that its talc-based products could cause cancer. About 1,000 cases have been filed in Missouri state court, and another 200 in New Jersey.
Fox, who lived in Birmingham, Alabama, claimed she used Baby Powder and Shower to Shower for feminine hygiene for more than 35 years before being diagnosed three years ago with ovarian cancer. She died in October at age 62.
Jurors found Johnson & Johnson liable for fraud, negligence and conspiracy, the family's lawyers said. Deliberations lasted four hours, following a three-week trial.
Jere Beasley, a lawyer for Fox's family, said Johnson & Johnson "knew as far back as the 1980s of the risk," and yet resorted to "lying to the public, lying to the regulatory agencies." He spoke on a conference call with journalists.

Carol Goodrich, a Johnson & Johnson spokeswoman, said: "We have no higher responsibility than the health and safety of consumers, and we are disappointed with the outcome of the trial. We sympathize with the plaintiff's family but firmly believe the safety of cosmetic talc is supported by decades of scientific evidence."

Trials in several other talc lawsuits have been set for later this year, according to Danielle Mason, who also represented Fox's family at trial.

In October 2013, a federal jury in Sioux Falls, South Dakota found that plaintiff Deane Berg's use of Johnson & Johnson's body powder products was a factor in her developing ovarian cancer.

Nevertheless, it awarded no damages, court records show.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc (VRX.TO) now owns the Shower to Shower brand but was not a defendant in the Fox case.
The case is Hogans et al v. Johnson & Johnson et al, Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis, Missouri, No. 1422-CC09012.

For effective crime reduction Lagos state has establish a DNA forensic lab for collection and preserving reference and evidentiary DNA which can later be used in identifying criminals;

Read the press statement below...

"In furtherance of its commitment to the criminal justice sector reforms and take the fight against crime to a greater level, the Lagos State Government on Tuesday announced that it has concluded plans to establish the first ever high-powered DNA Forensic Laboratory in Nigeria which will take off within the next six to twelve months.

The lab, which would be called the Lagos State DNA Forensics Centre (LSDFC), when fully operational, would fulfill an unmet need for DNA profiling which is a unique forensic technique that is now being used all over the world.

Addressing journalists at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa on Tuesday, the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem, said the establishment of the centre was another eloquent testimony of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s sincerity and seriousness towards fighting all forms of criminality.

Kazeem, who addressed the media alongside senior officials of the Ministry, said Governor Ambode had been at the vanguard of the war against domestic, sexual and violent crimes, and that the centre was geared towards vigorous justice sector reforms.

He recalled the ground-breaking donation of equipment worth N4.8 billion to the Nigerian Police, the Light Up Lagos Project, and the recent solidarity visit of the Governor to crime flash points like the Isawo area of Ikorodu where criminals have been terrorizing innocent citizens, among others as further proofs of the Governor’s determination to tackle crime.

Speaking on the importance of the forensic centre, the Commissioner said the facility which would be driven by the Ministry of Justice with active support of the Governor, will focus on DNA analysis to support the justice sector in diverse areas such as “collection and preserving reference and evidentiary DNA which can later be used in identifying criminals; decoding familial relationships of individuals which could also be a tool for the judicial system; and identifying victims and remains after natural and manmade calamities.”

Kazeem also explained that DNA profiling is an extraction of DNA from body fluids, semen, nails, hair and other DNA generic sources, adding that the centre would greatly help to controvert evidence of alibi and confirm physical presence of suspects at the scene of a crime and the origin of DNA to such suspects.

He said: “Even though the role of DNA in forensics, law enforcement and the justice sector is well known globally, a high-powered DNA analysis centre is not available in Nigeria. This means that most, if not all the DNA testing needs are performed outside Nigeria, a situation that leads to longer turnaround times and an overall higher cost of bringing closure to investigation and prosecution of crimes.”

He said when operational, the centre will serve the DNA needs of the state, members of the public, other states and neighbouring countries, saying it would be of international standard which all stakeholders including security agencies would benefit from.

On the areas of focus, Kazeem said the Centre would be deployed for criminal investigation to identify criminals with incredible accuracy and exonerate suspects mistakenly accused or convicted of crimes.

The Centre, according to the Commissioner, would also aid investigation on domestic and sexual violence cases, boost family and paternity proceedings, and help in identifying victims of natural and manmade disasters.

The Commissioner expressed optimism that the Centre would be a unique solution to fighting crime in the quest of the present administration for a safer and secured Lagos, adding, “Lagos is a unique place with a unique Governor who has continued and will continue to provide unique solutions.”

He further said the government was partnering with experts in the DNA field on the project, who would build, operate and transfer to government after about two years, a period within which the officials of the state must have been trained on how to run the Centre.

Fielding questions on the challenge of collecting database for the centre, Kazeem said data collated along the line, would be stored, and that other government ministries, departments and agencies would equally collaborate with the Ministry of Justice to effectively deliver on the mandate of the Centre.

Half the planet will need glasses by 2050 due to screens, research suggests

According to research published in the Ophthalmologist journal, 4.8billion people, or 49.8 per cent of the global population, will need reading glasses by 2050 – almost double the 2010 figure of 28.3 per cent.

The study suggests that ‘lifestyle changes resulting from a combination of decreased time outdoors and increased near-work activities’ – time spent looking at screens – are ‘widely considered’ to be behind this dramatic change

High income countries are most at risk of myopia, the researchers say, simply because the people living in those countries spend more time looking at their television, or phone, or laptop.

Feb. 21, 2015: A collision caused Jeep to spin out, crash and burst into flames on a Tennessee highway. Police recovered an undamaged Bible in the car's front seat.

According to Foxnews An SUV caught fire and exploded on a Tennessee road Sunday, causing nearly everything in the vehicle to be destroyed except a Bible left untouched in the front seat.

The Memphis Police Department responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m. Sunday when the Jeep Laredo left Tennessee State Route 385 and went up in flames after it was swiped by another vehicle, Fox 13 Memphis reported.

A witness to the crash, Eugene McNiel, told Fox 13 he was only about 20 yard away when he saw the car clip the Jeep and jumped out of his truck to help.

"I didn't care. I wanted to save that man's life because I don't want to see (anybody) get burned up in (a) car,” he said.

Officials told Fox 13 a Memphis police officer and several nearby motorists were able to pull the trapped driver out of the burning vehicle before it exploded, and later recovered the undamaged bible.

"That is God," McNiel told Fox 13. "You don't believe? (Then) I don't know what to say."

The driver of the Jeep was transported to a nearby hospital with non-critical injuries.

It is revealed that there is a leak in an underwater gas pipeline that belongs to Nigerian Agip Oil Company, NAOC, at Kalaba community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State

The report, by Mr Morris Alagoa, Head of Field Operations at ERA/FoEN, revealed that the gas leakage came from an underwater gas pipeline beneath Taylor Creek. ERA/FoEN, a civil society group, noted that the gas leaking at high pressure was causing giant bubbles in Taylor Creek which serves as the sole source of water for the communities.
“What we are seeing is the bubbling of gas leaking from NOAC’s pipeline. This was discovered in the early hours of Saturday. I got to hear about it first when some children were shouting that oil was bubbling and that there was a leakage.
“As a trained field monitor, I also came around to see what was happening in the environment, whether what I heard was true. When I paddled down here by canoe, I discovered that it was true, gas was actually bubbling. “Incidentally, this Creek is our only source of drinking water and where we carry out almost all domestic activities. Right now, the water is polluted.
“As a monitor of the environment, I promptly informed the ERA/FoEN because, that is the organisation we know that has been helping us to reach out to Agip whenever such things happen,” the report said.
It advised the oil firm to immediately deploy to the site and shut the source of the gas leak to forestall further pollution of the environment and exposure of residents to toxic associated gas.

FBI Director  James Comey, said the agency owed the victims of last December's San Bernardino terror attack a "thorough and professional investigation" in an effort to explain why law enforcement officials are trying to compel Apple to help them gain access to a cellphone owned by one of the gunmen, despite Apple CEO Tim Cook's refusal.

On Friday, the Justice Department filed a motion to compel Apple to comply with the court order. Early Monday, Cook sent an email to Apple employees saying that the FBI should withdraw its demand.

In the message, subject-lined "Thank you for your support,"  Cook states that the company has "no tolerance or sympathy for terrorists" and believes abiding by the judge's order would be unlawful, an expansion of government powers, and would set a dangerous precedent that would essentially create a backdoor to the encrypted iPhone.

"This case is about much more than a single phone or a single investigation," Cook wrote, "so when we received the government's order we knew we had to speak out."

"At stake is the data security of hundreds of millions of law-abiding people and setting a dangerous precedent that threatens everyone's civil liberties."

While Apple has until Feb. 26 to file its opposition to the initial order.
