Newly Appointed Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi Pledges To Complete All Rail Projects and extends it across the country 

 According to the Nation Newspaper, Minister Amaechi made this statement shortly after his inauguration by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on Wednesday

Mr. Amaechi announced that he will begin his work on November 17th after the new Permanent Secretary, Mr. Sabiu Zakari, assumes his position in the ministry.   The newly appointed minister hopes to meet with both Mr. Zakari and the ministry’s directors to discuss budgetary implementation vis a vis his plans for completing ongoing rail projects as well as the expansion of rail lines.

The former Rivers State Governor touched upon the importance of transparency, combating corruption, and the fulfillment of President Buhari’s change agenda. He warned all of his future employees that they must not seek him out for cash handouts.
